Where are your wraps made?
Our wraps are made exclusively in Australia. They are woven locally and hand finished personally by ourselves and our small team of employees.
Where is your mill? Where is your finishing done?
Our mill is among few of the remaining jacquard mills still functioning in Australia. It has been an amazing journey thus far with our mill and we are proud of the working relationships we have built. Along with being the first Australian wrap manufacturer to have developed weaving expressly for babywearing with our mill, they are very open to experimentation and innovation and we are looking forward to bringing some exciting developments in early 2016. Our wraps are cut by Kellie and her team then shipped to Alex to hand sew and package along with her team. Its a labour of love
How do I care for my wrap?
Our wraps arrive to you in loom state, without a finishing wash, because of this we recommend a one cold wash without spin, and gentle cycle for subsequent washing. Please do not use color catchers. Tumble dry on low/delicate. Ironing is strongly encouraged to prevent premature wear at the rails and other highly creased areas. Please inspect your wrap every time you wear your baby for signs of damage.
What is your return policy?
Ankalia Textiles will accept returns and exchanges of unwashed items in the original packaging within 15 days of receipt. Please see our Terms & Conditions page for full details.

We ship express post via Australia Post for domestic purchases. International purchases are shipped via Pack and Send who use DHL as their carrier. All parcels are sent express with tracking and Sign on delivery. We ship within 5 business days of purchase, barring weekends and holidays. Please see our Terms & Conditions page for more details.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide for all our woven baby wraps and ring slings. We can not sell the Ankalia Up buckle baby carrier to Canada and the United States.
What payment methods do you accept?
