Cyathea Entrust Baby Carrier

Woven Wrap Review by Rachael This came to me nice and soft in loom state, but became a little crunchy after the first wash and iron. A couple of wears saw it breaking in, and this will not take very long to get it back to being soft.

I tried this in my base size in a ruck with knotless finish, front wrap cross carry, and a front wrap cross carry with Poppins Finish. In the ruck it felt a little diggy on my shoulders, and I couldn’t wear it like this for longer than half an hour. In the FWCC I had to spread the passes to help with my toddler’s weight, but it would have been fine to wear him like this for a short while.

The perfect carry for us was the FWCC with Poppins Finish! Even though it’s a one shouldered carry, my toddler felt weightless in it. It’s the first successful Poppins Finish I have done without a friend helping to tighten it as there was enough texture in the wrap to hold it in place while I was tightening. I could have worn the toddler like this for hours comfortably, and I normally only wear him on my back for longer carries. There was no slippage while we were walking around, so I didn’t have to re-tighten at any stage.

Once broken in, this would be great for a newborn, but will also be comfortable wearing a toddler.
