NAIDOC week and collaboration with Gail Mabo

Ankalia respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and cultures. We acknowledge past, present and future Traditional Owners of the land that we work on.

Ankalia is extremely honoured to be working with Gail Mabo of Doodle Dreaming, on an upcoming piece for a festival in Melbourne early next year. Gail is the daughter of the celebrated lands rights activist Eddie Mabo, and is an extremely talented painter, dancer, and choreographer. We eagerly anticipate seeing how Gail's work transforms from canvas to a woven textile. Here’s a sneak peek at the artwork that is being transformed.

Limited edition release of ‘Up’ carriers

It’s the news hordes of Ankalia fans have been waiting for - another release of the Up carriers! Since their introduction in May at the Pregnancy, Baby, and Children’s expo in Sydney, the Up has received rave reviews from those fortunate enough to have purchased one. We’re excited to be able to say that Krystal and her team at Under My Wing have been hard at work, and have produced more of the highly sought after, limited edition Up carriers. These will be available for draw for invoice on the 22nd of July. Keep an eye on the Ankalia Facebook and Instagram pages for further details of this release.
